Sock It Up Kingston Drop-off Deadline

We are two grade 7 students from Calvin Park Public School's Challenge Program. As a follow up to the Challenge for Change Symposium that was held at Queen's McArthur Hall on November 25th, 2009 we have begun a project called "Sock It Up Kingston!" whereby we are collecting donations of socks and mittens to help warm the needy or homeless people in our community. We have partnered up with The Salvation Army to help us distribute these items.

Donations can be dropped off at the Salvation Army Community Services Centre at 342 Patrick Street. Visit http://www.sockitupkingston.webs.com for more information.
