Devon Cobb is hosting her 2nd Annual Easter Food Drive benefiting the Partners In Mission Food Bank. Can you believe that since this seven year old first began completing her missions to help those in need, she, through her community, she has been able to donate over 8,000 lbs of food and more than $6,000 to the Partners In Mission Food Bank?
She knows that all of these donations have gone a long way to improve the lives of many less fortunate people in our community, and would like to call upon everyone to come together, once again, as a community, and continue to make a BIG difference by replenishing the shelves of the Partners In Mission Food Bank in time for Easter.
So, on March 19th, 2010 between the hours of 6:00pm and 8:30pm, she will be going door to door collecting non-perishable food donations along selected streets in the Henderson Place area. She will be travelling with the young Waterbury Crusaders, a Jack's Towing flat-bed truck and escorted by the Kingston City Police - so watch for the lights. If you can't make it out to Henderson Place area on March 19th, but still would like to support, you are encouraged to drop off any non-perishable food donations at one of the following locations:
.Jack's Towing Service at 840 John Counter Blvd on March 19th from 7:00am to 10:00pm
.1028 Waterbury Crescent March 19th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
.Partners in Mission Food Bank at 140 Hickson Avenue Mon-Fri from 8:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm
