2010 marks the 20th anniversary of SuperWalk and it will be Parkinson Society Canada's biggest fundraising event yet! In 2009, $2.6 million was raised nationally through SuperWalk, helping fund 16 new research programs as well as providing resources for education, advocacy and support services to the over 100,000 Canadians living with this debilitating disease. This year it is our goal to raise $3 million, $900,000 of which is hoped to come from generous supporters in Central and Northern Ontario.
The Kingston SuperWalk is being held on Saturday, September 11th at Lake Ontario Park (Long House), with registration beginning at 10:00 am. This is a fun family event with participants ranging from infancy and on! You can even register your family as a team. Everyone is welcome!
