Brasswerks "Cead Mile Failte"

On Friday, February 17th at Sydenham Street United Church, Brasswerks, Kingston's premier brass ensemble, will be presenting "Cead Mile Failte"- literally, A Hundred Thousand Welcomes, as part of their 2011/12 concert series. Flavoured by the musical character of Scotland, this show will feature traditional songs such as "Scotland the Brave" and "Bryn Calfaria" as well as contemporary Celtic-inspired works, including an original composition by Brasswerks' own John Palmer. Further enhancing this evening's Celtic flair is the concert's featured soloist; Brasswerks happily welcomes back bagpiper and trombonist Taylor Donaldson, a favourite soloist among Brasswerks audiences. We look forward to welcoming you (a hundred thousand times!) to this high-spirited & one-of-a-kind concert!
