|
[No Dates Found] Show Past Dates | | The Barefoot Players is a popular local Kingston theatre troupe supported by Queens University Drama Department and Theatre Kingston which has been touring for 10 years. Our show this summer is called Myth Takes, and is an original play written for the Barefoot Players by local author and teacher Gord Love, with music by local musician Rick Cairns. The play weaves together four different myths from around the world: The Sphinx of Thebes, The Twelve Labours of Hercules from Greece, a creation myth from Bengal, India, and a moral myth from Nigeria.
